InterAx as a game designer...
InterAx was designed to allow persons with little or no programming knowledge to create professional looking first-person type games (Myst, etc).  Unlike some other game engines, InterAx does NOT use a "scripting language".  The problem with scripting languages is that in order to do something as simple as playing a sound when the player does something, you need to enter a sequence of words- not too much unlike a line of code.  Scripting languages are difficult to learn, and some are nearly impossible.  This also causes a problem- if you learn one language, then decide to try another game engine, more than likely the scripting language will be different, and you'll have to learn it all over again.  The InterAx interface allows you to design your game by simply pointing and clicking.  There is very little typing involved, none of which has anything to do with a scripting language.  The game "script" is automatically generated behind-the-scenes, as you point and click your way through your game.  When it comes to "programming" a game, it simply doesn't get much easier than this.
Of course it's also important to realize that generally speaking, designing a game is easier said than done.  Besides coming up with a great plot, you also need to create graphics and sounds.  Since InterAx is so easy to use, you will have more time to concentrate on the graphics and sounds- which are very important elements to a successful game these days.
Once you give InterAx a try, and see how easy it is to work with, you will never try another game engine again!

InterAx as an educational tool...
InterAx is a great way to create interactive stories and games for kids.  Kids love to be entertained... and a great way to teach a child is through entertainment.  With InterAx, you can easily put pictures, animations, and sounds together to form something both fun and educational.  Once you get started with the graphics and sounds, you'll be amazed at how easy it is to create something that kids will like!  Just as easy as it is for kids to point and click their way through your "game", you'll be pointing and clicking your way through the creation process.

InterAx as an interactive photo album...
Photo albums are a great way to share memories with loved ones.  With InterAx, you can put still images, video clips, and sound clips of your loved ones all in one easy to use program.  Link them together in any order you'd like... categorize them.  Set it up to simply go through each person's life one at a time, or inter-twine them so you can see how your family grew and branched out.  You have complete control of how it is laid out... how it "plays" out.  Have fun!
