Yesterday I downloaded around 15 or so programs that deal with making file renaming easier. Some demo, some free, all good in one way or another. I tried your product and it performed excellently, exactly what I have been looking for. ... ... I enjoy purchasing software from small enterprises simply because I find the quality excellent and it's less dollars going into some corporate coffer. Two, when I find a program I like, I can purchase immediately and begin to use immediately.
Thanks! PJ N.
Thank you for the fast response. I can see from your email that I have the latest version, and yes I do love that upgrade policy. I tell everyone I know about your program, hope everyone registers so you can continue with the great work. Be well. PBK
Wow! I just wanted to thank you for a great little program that does exactly what I want it to, and nothing more! So many programs today are bloated with bells and whistles that I'll never use. What I really needed was a quick easy way to rename my jpg's in a meaningful manner.
Between three digital cameras, two computers, and not always deleting the files from the cameras after I had uploaded them to the computers I had lots of duplicates. I could only foresee hours and hours of painstakingly checking the exif information to find the date the picture was taken, deleting the duplicates, and then renaming the remainder all by hand.
Imagine my delight when a Google search turned up your program. After downloading the demo and using it for a half hour I was hooked. Simple to learn, easy to use and does just what it's supposed to. It is well worth the $15 [Sale Price] for the program. I'll be sending an email to several friends letting them know about this great program. Thank you!

Download.com’s review of Name Dropper v2.4 (No longer available on their site when v3.0 was posted, so it was reprinted here).
Different from most batch renamers, Name Dropper alleviates the tedium of managing filenames for digital photos. The program performs the usual batch renaming without a hitch, but we especially liked the ability to rename each file individually without tediously typing in new names. As you preview your images, you can click among 12 shortcut buttons assigned to your commonly used words or names to build filenames. So if your buttons include Jane and Joe, Las Vegas, Acapulco, and Honeymoon, you need only a couple of clicks to create Jane and Joe on Honeymoon or Jane and Joe in Acapulco. The program also will automatically append series numbers to the ends of the filenames, such as John1.jpg and John2.jpg, to make things even easier. You can save your commonly used custom buttons as templates for quick access later. Simple and efficient, the program will be of use to shutterbugs of all stripes.
