We’ve noticed a trend with billboards at churches over the years. Many are now using humor to help get peoples’ attention.  Some are rather clever, and many are nothing more than a bad pun- which is sometimes funny in itself. Here are some quotes from actual church billboards in our area:

* The original sign said “DOWNLOAD YOUR WORRIES”, but being a person who deals a lot with computers I feel compelled to point out that technically speaking, “downloading worries” would be giving yourself more worries. Downloading is receiving files (“worries”) and uploading is sending. Granted, “download” sounds better, but it is technically incorrect. Regardless, I did like this one!
