How to create images to be used for objects in a scene
If you would like to insert a clickable object into a scene, for example, a HotSpot, you need to first create a small image file for it. This is easy to do!  Start by opening the scene’s image file with your favorite image editor.  Using the image editor’s ‘selection tool’, select the area that you want to use as an object in InterAx. Choose ‘Copy’ (usually found under the ‘Edit’ menu), then choose ‘Paste as new image’ (also usually found under the ‘Edit’ menu). Save this as either a JPG or GIF, giving it a unique filename, such as ‘doorknob1.jpg’.  In InterAx, insert a HotSpot object into that scene, then choose the file you just created for the ‘Object Image’ property. That’s all there is to it. If you would like to be able to toggle this object’s visibility while in the game, you will need to use your image editor to temporarily put the image into the scene’s image first.  Then you would copy & paste as new image as before. Note though, that you will not want to save the changes made to the scene image, since you do not want that object to be a permanent part of the scene image.
